06 ordered!!
Well, i broke down and ordered an 06 GT!! I have mainly been a dodge man for most of my racing years,1971 to present, and i still run an 8.70 in the 1/4 65 dodge dart, hence my name on screen.
But there is more to the story;
In 1969, i wrote home from Veitnam and asked my folks (19 years old) to order a 1970 boss 302, in yellow, with a 4 speed, 4.30 locker, and magnum 500 wheels. They said no dice, as i was underage yet, no credit, ETC. Partly due to the list price of $ 4300, which was a lot at the time. So i got a 68 coronet 383 4 speed for the sum of $1700, which i loved dearly, despite it not being quite what i wanted. Forward 36 years. It is time, and i am getting my mustang!!!!!!
2006 GT deluxe,Feista blue, 5 speed, 500 sound system, machined 17' wheels and locking wheel nuts, that is it! Couldn't get much of a discount, but after seeing on dealer trying to get 34,900 for a USED GT, i figured i better not quible, and take the $400 off i was offered. So, i am waiting, and hope to see it before the snow flys up here in Mn!!

Almost reminds me of the commercial on the Ford website for the Mustang.
Congrats! So how longs the wait? My order actually went into the "banks" monday.
