Local stealer wants to move a GT500KR pretty bad and I'm taking my GT in tomorrow for them to look at for trade-in value. Here's what I got:

2008 Mustang GT Deluxe Version
Candy Apple Red
Interior Upgrade Package
Automatic Transmission
Replaced Halogen Headlights with HID Lights
Replaced Stock Audio with JVC KW-NX7000 DVD-NAV Receiver
Installed Covercraft Bra
8,900 Highway Miles
Always kept in a garage
I would say a 9 out of 10 overall.

Window sticker says $46,325 MSRP on the KR. Its a new 2008. What do you guys think is a good range for this car minus my trade-in? Any input appreciated fellas!

at least 25k on top of your car. sorry to not sound very optimistic, but dealers suck on trade in's.

You missed the other sticker with the KR addon. and dealer markup. I hate to tell you this, KRs go for about 2x what the "sticker" you see states. You wont walk away for under 80K imo for it

Unlike a regular GT, that new KR will only get more desirable the older it gets.

I was at Brandon Ford in Tampa over the weekend and they have a brand new KR "marked down" from 102k to 76k. I still wouldn't pay that much for it, though. That's crazy money!

Thanks for the input guys! Yeah, I know the GT500KR command some pretty sick prices so I will be interested to see what the local stealer's idea of a "great deal" is. I'll keep you guys posted....

Weird I've seen a few at mid 60s they were desperate. How many have been produced? Are the SS still available for upgrading?
