okay so im trying to decide whether i wanna make my s197 look super sexy (gt500 sront fascia,chin spoiler,louvers,gt500 hood, side scoops) or to fix up my 83 mustang gt for the old lady to cruise/take to meets. the 83 needs alot of stupid little stuff that pisses me off alot lol ( moron that had it before me had a monkey do the wiring ) and it needs a little body work, and some rims and tires so she doesnt kill herself.... tell me your opinions and any other ideas u have!!

Both. Take half of the budget that you planned to spend and stretch it between both vehicles. She will love you for your efforts on her car and you will get to enjoy some sexiness on yours. Remember...if mamma ain't happy, nobody is.

well i really dont have that much of a budget just yet im just trying t figure out which i should do. she hasnt drove the fox yet and im sure with a little more practice driving a stick she will love the car i just need to fix all the bugs....and if i were to do that i may possibly be able to talk her into a vortech sc.....

why dont you give your s197 to your wife, and fix up the fox for yourself. from the description in your sig, it looks like its pretty bada**!!!

I have to agree with our skydiver friend. Keep the lady happy and you will go far. Though I am a big fan of the GT500 conversion, our cars can look good taking different avenues that wont be as costly as the GT500 front. But just make sure thats what you really want, because if you truly think you will ultimately be going to do the conversion, do it right from the start and not redo like I did and waste unnecessary money. the fox would be awesome if the previous owner wasnt a lazy *** and did things right on the car lol he bored and stroked the engine and put all forged internals on a car with stock ported and polished heads??? wtf it just pisses me off lol


i really like the gt500 kit but i was also thinking about supercharging the car first and getting some 3.73 gears and some stronger axles

Looks like you've already got a great S197. I say give the wife a great ride to accompany it, and hold off on the GT500 mods for a bit.

id fix up the fox first and make it an 8 second track car! then take peoples money in races and fix up your s197 for FREE!
