Attaching a front license plate
It's been posted previously, but I don't think it was explained as to why.
If you go to any auto parts store, they'll have self-tapping screws specific for hanging license plates that will go into your bumper. Buy either the chrome or stainless screws (plastic ones look cheap), because the other metal screws will eventually start to rust and will stain your plate.

Talked today to someone who actually installed his front plate.
He said you just drill into the dimples on the front bumper and that it's just a plastic bumper under the plastic outer bumper. Not going into metal.
Also, you may need a frame that has 4 holes instead of just 2. The top 2 attach the plate and the frame to the bumper and the bottom 2 you use to bolt the plate to the frame. I haven't seen any of those bolts and nuts for that... maybe i have to get them from my Ford dealer.

You can get it all at an auto parts store like I said. Pick out a nice frame with 4 holes. Get the stainless tapping screws, [drill a SMALL pilot hole for them!], and attach the frame/plate to the bumper. No, you dont go in to metal, just the plastic fascia. Then, use a regular stainless bolt/nut combo to attatch the lower frame holes to the plate. Couldnt be easier. Ask the parts store "expert" for advice if need be.
