I filled it with whatever royal purple I bought from brenspeed when i bought the gears. The fill plug has been off to check the level and the fluid does not come out. I am going to check it again this afternoon when I get it up on the lift

The V6 manual calls for 75W90.
My chevy truck says to use 75w90, too.

I prefer to go with 75w140 though for the abuse I put them through.
