Exclamation HELLLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!

so despite the forewarning on running my jlt without my tuner, i went ahead and did it anyway. as some of you may know my tuner was stolen out of my car and i just haven't had the money to replace it. so i put my jlt intake on without changing the tune on the car and ran it like that for close to a month...i'm taking a trip to vegas so i wanted to take my car in for service and removed my intake.

NOW THE CAR THE HAS RIDICULOUS LAG ON JUST GOING AFTER REMOVING THE INTAKE!!! ITS IDLING REALLY WEIRD AND IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO!!!!
IS IT NORMAL, IS THE COMPUTER GOING TO RESET WHEN I TAKE IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP AND IT WILL RETURN TO NORMAL??
OR DID I JUST EFF MY BABY UP?????

HELPPPPPP

Take the batter terminal off for ten minutes and reconnect. It should reset everything to normal. If it doesnt the dealership can readjust everything and the memory of whatever change you did will be wiped out.

I'm not sure I follow. Your car has a tune loaded for the JLT and you removed it to take it to the dealer, but can't flash to the stock tune because your tuner was stolen?

If that's the case then I don't see it making a huge difference. If you try to run the stock tune with the JLT, then you will run into problems.

Then just put the stock airbox back on and reset the battery?

If there is a JLT tune on it killing the battery power will not reset the ecu to the factory tune!

coke, he said hes running the stock tune with the jlt intake. hes a total f*cking ret@rd for doing it, but i guess you cant teach some people. When you have a mass air flow sensor and you change the diameter of the tube it is mounted in, your car has no idea how much air is going into the engine. your car was probably adjusting fuel trim solely by the 02 sensors.....

not a total "f*cking ret@rd" ( not sure why you wouldn't write retard, figured thats retarded of you) but anyway it really isn't as bad on the engine as everyone makes it seem. it throws the computer off but honestly who give 2 s#its, the car still ran and it ran with ***** like that. to me it felt stronger then with a tune jmo. my panic was not getting the ecu back to normal after it but thanks for your opinion jahu
