Default knocking/ticking sound

Does anyone know what the cause of this sound is? I get this ticking/knocking sound at idle and very low RPM (below 1200). I have been all around the engine and transmission with a stethoscope and can't pin-point it. It's a discrete tapping sound that comes and goes. It doesn't follow every revolution of the engine, but is kinda intermittent tapping sound. It sounds just like the knocking/ticking sound that comes in right at 28-30 seconds into this clip I found on youtube.

Thanks.

I couldn't hear it from the video.

I'm wanting to say it could be the cam phasers. Some have had problems with those.

The Hydraulic throw out bearing or slave cylinder can make a tapping noise at idle sometimes. Cant really hear much on the video besides exhaust. Mine you can hear because of the aluminum flywheel, it reverberates noise compared to steel ones

The sound comes in right at 28 seconds (if you watch the timer on the video) and lasts until 30 seconds. Mine will do this at idle on and off, sometimes louder and sometimes not so loud. If you turn up the volume you can hear it, it's like a ch..ch...ch...ch...ch sound that only lasts for about 2 seconds in this video.

I was thinking it could be clutch or release bearing related, since in this video the sound starts just before he engages the clutch.

Thanks for your reply.

I am almost positive it is the throwout bearing/slave cylinder making the noise. It is common with these cars
