dkersten. Lots of info. Thanks for taking the time. You raise some good points with the saleen. I will think about what you said. I am off soon for long vacation so when I come back I will start putting things together.

Where did you purchase the Kenne Bell from?
I heard these units are not in stock and have long waiting times. Is that true?

I think install for either kit is near the same....the Saleen doesn't come with the GT500 dual pumps that I am aware of...maybe on the 500+ kits? take your time on any of the wiring of either unit. LCA's will help with wheel hop and if lowered get relocation brackets. Adj. panhard bar for staggered setups or if you have wide tires regardless of the size of your rims to center the rear esp if you have a drop greater then 1 inch. For a DD get all of the above suspension parts with poly ends.

I heard of the risk of cracking your block at the points that CHE K torque mounts bolt, so I am a bit worried about that. This may be push me towards the MM's instead of the torque mounts.

I am thinking of going with the steeda ultralights and tokico D specs.
I guess relocation brakets with BMR or Steeda LCA's
Is panhard bar required or is it a look and see item? Fatter tires are very likely in the future. (as soon as the wife recovers from the shock of the cost of the sc and suspension...)

Prefer to remain Stock drive shaft for now. Do I need an UCA to adjust the angle with the ultralights?
You might need the UCA after a drop but TacoBill did not that I was aware and his rear stayed centered too after install of the Steeda ultralights....great combo IMO with the suspension setup you mentioned above and the panhard bar is a look (better yet measure with a plumb bob) and see if needed item. It will be stronger and lighter and get the poly ends and you will have even better traction when all is said and done and done at almost the same time. Link to install below

You dont have to worry about the TQ limiters and I use them with no issues and they do help with shifting esp 2nd to third and if you already have a real short throw shifter....it has to do with the way the shifter is positioned on the trans and when you go WOT and shift 3rd can possibly be missed or harder to get into. I went with the CHE k-member and TQ limiters as I have a coupe and it did make a huge difference. I only read of one problem where it crack and broke off where it is attached to the trans housing and the car had either had a bad casting for the trans housing or it was installed or torqued incorrectly. Many on here use them before and after FI and have no issues. JDM I believe had them on a 700+ RWHP and TQ and they had no issues of that happening of what so ever. Remember these cars and the parts are made by people (or the machines that make them are made by people) and you can and will have a few housing's or whatever that will break when new....the few that you may have read that broke there are potentially 1000's to 10s of thousands that did not.... JMO

Do motor mounts achieve the same objective as torque limiters?

Its a good kit for the money. All of the kits that have been around a while are good honestly. The car is fast and has very little "lag", just steady power until redline. The only time I've really seen "heatsoak" was a couple weeks ago when I went out for a drive on a Saturday afternoon for a few hours and it was around 100 degrees outside. The IATs were running around 140 degrees and the few times I stepped on it, I could definitely tell it was compensating. It was still pretty quick though, and the tune appeared to do exactly what it should have. The car is only a weekend toy for me, so this condition isn't something I encounter often enough to worry about. Even with the intercooler, I think the IATs would have been 115+ or so that particular day.

If you are going to daily drive the car I'd recommend the intercooler up front. Its just cheaper that way. I might do the HO upgrade on mine later this year when I get around to it, but not for the reasons some would expect. Simply put, the car will be easier to sell later with the HO kit, and not *only* the non-IC kit. The other thought I've had is just selling the thing as-is for a grand over blue book and washing my hands of it. That would be one lucky buyer, the thing is mint. . I think I want a Nissan GT-R instead. Those payments will suck, but it might be worth it...
