Thanks for the reply dkersten. Yeah my overall solution on a very hot day is to simply not drive the car hard. I'm running 93 octane on a 91 tune that is rich to begin with, and seemingly well written from Brenspeed. I'm not sure I could have a safer tune setup in general than what I have now. With a 140 degree IAT, I'm sure I lose a good 30-40rwhp, but then again I've only ever seen it quite that high once with a 100 degree sunny day. It is usually in the 95-115 degree range. I never beat on the car anyway, so all of this is moot really.

I may added the aftercooler at some point, but its doubtful right now. Chances are I will sell the car next summer, so I may leave that to the next owner...

Guys, I have an offer on an edelbrock e-force kit #1580 new at 5100 shipped. Is this a good price? It is supposed to be a full and complete brand new kit. Alternative I can get saleen stage 3 at 5470 shipped. What do you recommend? Urgently please.

who is giving you these prices?? both look pretty dang good, better than I have seen actually, if you get an intercooled SC kit thats a non centri that puts 410-425 to the tires for under $5500 bucks that is doing better than most

You can't go wrong with either kit, but that EB pricing is awesome as it is about $600 less than the normal price and I would jump on it in a heartbeat!!

If I was you, I would get the saleen s/c for an extra hundred bucks. I know there are plenty of good write ups on the installs and MANY people who actually have them and can help you out with any issues. Edelbrock seems nice, but I know people didn’t get the results that were advertised. Saleen FTW

I would say the Saleen or wait and try to find a used S/C.
