how do i reflash my computer back to stock?
Just as the title says. I remember having the tune for 87,89, and 91 on my Xcal 2, but how do I flash I back to stock? I am putting my stock air filter back on and need to take my car in for warranty work. Any other suggestions about how I should prepare my car before I take it in for warranty work?

Return to stock if you have no stomach for dealers that are azzholes. My dealership's service department have had nothing but praise for what I've done to my Stang and have not declined any warranty work.
There are really only 2 dealerships that I would trust to work on my car around here, and one of them is borderline with how well they work on the car. I just put my stock air filter back on and reflashed the car to stock. I will see how it drives today. A friend of mine recommended I disconnect the battery, then drive it about 50 miles to try and get the check engine light back on. Is that necessary?
Also, I have about 30miles worth of 89 octane gas still in my tank, with that hurt my car driving about 50 miles or so? And when I go get some gas before I take it in should I go back to 87 octane or should I stay with 89 octane.
Thank you for the replies....

for 20 mins or so. Then relearn the adaptive learning as its layed
out in the owners manual under "replacing the battery".
Running 89 on a 87 tune or a stock tune is just a waste of money, thats all.
No detrimental effects on the engine, just the wallet.
Stay with the 89 if you plan on installing the intake and 89 tune
as soon as its back from the stealership.

Thank you for the help so far.
It's been awhile since I have been on, (family problems) but I have some good information about the P0304 problem and what they did to my car...
I finally took my car into the dealership and they ended up having my car for about a month.
First off they took over a week to diagnose the problem. The problem ended up being a valve on the 4th cylinder. I don't remember if it was exhaust or intake but one of them was not closing all the way and leaving enough clearance to cause a problem with the mixture and throw the check engine light. At least that's how I understood it from the guy on the phone.
They ended up deciding to change out my right side head, which was going to cost $3800. Supposedly any work $2000 or more has to be approved by Ford corporate, which basically meant I had to wait another week for that to happen.
After all of that they did all the work and now I have my car back; Finally.
My question is this...
I have a CAI I want to re-install it on my car and was wondering if I would have any problems because of the work that was done. I take it since they replaced the whole right head that they might flash my computer and I have heard of people having trouble reloading tunes after having warranty work done. I tried to search for other threads about this but didn't find anything. Is there anyway around that problem?

Connect your tuner. If the PCM recognizes it, you should be good to go. If they reflashed it and changed the strategy code, your tuner will essentially wonder "WTF?" (but not quite in those words). I'd doublecheck, though, by calling the tech guys from wherever you bought your tunes.
