Hey y'all who have done the GT500 front end conversion or have GT500's!
Hey y'all,
Just got my car back from getting the GT500 conversion. I have a question -
Does your front bumper "wobble" a bit? I'm talking about the area immediately under the grille. It wasn't something I noticed at first, but if you put some weight on mine or try to shake it about some, my front bumper wobbles about half a centimeter or so - like I can physically move it about. It always snaps back into place, but hey...going 100 mph or so, shouldn't my bumper be rock solid?
I don't remember this happening with my stock GT front end, and it doesn't happen on my family's toyota's (can't move that bumper unless you hit it with say...another automobile).
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I'm not sure this seems right. That being said, I don't want to be a big pain in the *** and go back to my body shop saying "This doesn't feel right."
So, y'all who have the conversion done: is your bumper pretty much immovable or what?
Thanks for your help.

Did you get the impact absorber with your conversion?
The Shelby has a unique one that is a bit taller, thus keeping the flat part of the bumper, well flat. lol.
Other than that, I can't think of anything else...
