I have the Paxton kit, but i figure it may be the same for Vortech also. I have the Novi 2200 intercooled which i am currently installing. I noticed that the supercharger's idler pulley is very, very close to the alternator, but it does appear to clear because i can spin it when the belt is not on. It is only enough room for a piece of paper to slide through. Is this normal?

I can't help you with your question.
But I am interested in this kit, and how easy it is to install.
Post some pics when you're done.

Good luck.
