Default Need advice on getting CAI & Tuner

I need some advice, my next mod will be a CAI & Tuner from Brenspeed. I have 2009 GT/CS with Pypes X pipe and Pypes Violaters axleback. Car will be used for crusin mostly and work and not so much drag racing. I want to get performance and good MPG from the car. What Combo of CAI & tuner would due me justice. Also what tunes should I look into for both performance and MPG. Thanks for your imput.

Any of them are a fine choice...especially the ones Brenspeed sells. Just pick the intake that looks best to you...really, that's all it is.

After buying both I would say only get an SCT. Simply for the fact of resale. They work on most fords after 1996. The Diablo's are model and year specific.

Been happy with my SCT and Bullitt intake along with a set of tunes from Bamachips.

Brenspeed is a great place to get your tunes from. No intake performs better than the next, so like East87 said, just buy whichever one you like best.

I bought from bamachips.com. I got the JLT CAI + SCT with 3 tunes. The cool thing about buying from bamachips is that you can get the inlet tube painted to match the exterior of your car. So my tube is Redfire running from the filter cone up to the rubber elbow going into the throttle body. I bought that one because
a: a little cheaper than C&L
b: custom painted to match vehicle

Good luck deciding, and enjoy whatever you do decide on!

I am getting ready to get a tuner from bamachips as well but I was only going to get the tuner + tunes only for now. When I get some more money, ill get a CAI. Am I going to notice a difference with just the tuner or should i just wait until i can get the CAI + tuner?

mustangs 4U, you can do it either way but if you get the tuner before the CAI then you'll need new tunes when the CAI is installed. Brenspeed will do new tunes if you buy the CAI from them. I think bamachips will do new tunes even if you don't buy the CAI from them.

Thank you, that is good to know. I think I will go ahead and get the tuner for now then and later on I will get the CAI.
