Default Machine Shop

I should have asked this a while ago. I work in a machine shop at my school. Keep in mind i am not a machinist, i just happen to know how to use all of the machines.

The shop has been really slow during the summer months and I find myself very very bored. Can you guys think of anything interesting for me to make. Something that would be useful for my car or neat or flashy.

i think i want to have one of the CNC machines make me some bezels for my cup holders or something.

Let me know what you think of, i will try to make it and post pictures.

Cheers,

Rob

i'm not a machinist, but that's pretty much
the idea. i've seen a few pics of engine
bays with aluminum reservoirs and it
really looks nice

thats looks really nice. at this point the hardest part is getting the dimensions. Making it is not a problem.
