So, this might be a stupid question, but here goes:

Now that I've got a short throw shifter, I was wondering if there is something in the way of a short throw petal.

I can't imagine NASCAR guys and/or road racers are rowing the shift petal all that way all day long.

The S197's have a hydraulic clutch system so making a shorter clutch "throw" would be very difficult if not impossible, at least compared to the good ol' cable clutch.
