Default Getting stripes

I have a 2009 Mustang GT with a glass roof and was wondering what you would suggest for stripes. I want it to look something like this http://z.about.com/d/mustangs/1/0/t/H/-/-/DSC_0718.JPG (without the stripes on the roof and possibly in white)

I've heard that you can either get it painted on, or use some kind of vinyl way to do it yourself. What do you reccommend and about how much do you think it'll cost?

I know FRPP offers stripes and sites like American Muscle, not sure the cost but I would go with Silver.

How hard is it to put them on yourself?

Is there some way to line them up? I see that as the major problem (IE they end up not looking straight)

also check out graphics-express; that's where I got mine.
You can put them on yourself, but there's some prep work you need to do first (remove the wax where the vinyl will be). Then it's not hard to put on.

How do you make sure they go on straight and evenly spaced?
