Flowmasters sound fine. People hate them because they're popular, which in turn makes it even more popular to hate them. This effect also gives rise to false rumors. (Can someone please show me a single incident of a flowmaster with a "broken baffle"? lol.)

That being said, there are many other options. Some sound better, usually for more $$. NONE of them will give you a single HP (from a muffler swap alone) and anyone who thinks otherwise is misinformed.

For $100 I'd be all over that, they sound much better than stock and if you decide you don't wanna keep em, you can always sell them for a profit

Thats great that you want to rep what you have but with tha many post you figure you would have seen or heared of the post about probs wth the flows.....google is your friend shoud try using it..... Go see for yourself when the pages of complaints about broken baffles comes up. lol @ showing you 1 incident...

Majority of us here are mature and do not base our opinions on a popularity contest we base them on what we actually think......

Legion5 how about you post a vid and back up what you say for once? Dont recall anybody else on this forum who garantees more **** then you but doesnt ever deliver. Im POSITIVE that I wont like the sound of your car it may sound ok cause any high HP V8 is going to sound decent to me but "GARANTEE that you change your mind"....naw. I call BS on your fact about not one from saleen has had probs cause you have no clue about every persons car from saleen, dunno why you would even claim to know such a dumb thing.....

op for $100 grab them try them if you dont like them sell them simple as that, you never know you may like them its personal taste not "popularity" contest dont be misinformed...

I had Flows ATs and liked them. I ended up changing them to boomtubes after a while because I wanted more sound but the flows definitely sounded better than stock. I would grab em for that price. Alot of people don't like them because they are probably the most subtle of the axlebacks available, but the don't sound bad at all. Just not super loud (which is what alot of people want). Going from stock, you'll love them.

I also really like the sound of my Flows. No they're not the loudest mufflers I've heard, but they sound sweet and make that great popping noise on deceleration. Plus I think they look really nice with the rolled tips and black paint on the mufflers so they blend in with the underside of the car.

I've had flow masters on every vehicle I've ever owned... Never had a single problem out of the baffles... had em on my 88 f-150, 01 dodge ram 5.9L, had them on 84 jimmy full size, still have em on my 05 f-150 and now the 05 pony car... From my personal experience its the best mufflers for the $$ and they sound great as well....

My buddy has Flows with an offroad y pipe (he has a helion turbo) and the car sounds good... but its much too loud inside the car for my liking.

Probably why I have Corsas...

If you don't buy them, I will.

I assume Flows don't drone?

Flows with an O/R X and resonators sound decent ... If your getting flows go with and O/R H and some resonators .. it WILL sound clean.. still a little poppy on down shifting but none the less loud and clean !
