Ordered my 2010 Mustang GT Premium 4/02. Car built 5/05. ETA of 5/15. Car held for quality checks when the passenger side airbag issue arose. Dealer says Ford still hasn't updated the Vehicle Visibility. As far as I know, my car may still be sitting on a lot at the plant. Bottom line... neither I nor my dealer have a clue as to when my car will ship (assuming it hasn't already) or when it will be here.

The worst part for me is not knowing anything, especially when I read of other guys on these Mustang forums who've already received their cars although they placed their order long after me. Congrats to you guys, btw.

So who else is in the same boat? Please tell me I'm not alone. Maybe we can start a support group LOL.

I am right there with you. Ordered 3/17 date on sticker says 4/28 left plant 5/8. Sitting at ramp 51 ever since. 14 weeks today and growing. Even if they ship soon a week or two for deliever so iam looking at least 16 weeks. Soon I could have a house built. Whats the worst part is I went to look at a maxima last night and on the way home I stopped at another ford dealer and they have a V6 stang sitting there that was built after mine. It not a duplicate of mine but close. Ford can make them for dealers to have on lots but the sold units just sit and wait.

Same here. I ordered 04.17.09, car built 05.18.09. I keep calling the dealer and keep getting some bs. Whenever I call they come up with some diferent excuse just to shut my mouth I think.

The car I looked at last night was built on 5/18. Now thats weird.

If I don't get the car by the end of the week I plan to go to the dealer in person and try to find out something more.

I know fazm was just jokin, but I'd take his advice to heart. 2011 will see the new drivetrains coming into the Stang. If I were in the market for a new Mustang right now, I'd be waiting for that. I know what it's like to wanna have it right now (I went thru this same boatload of shenanigans back in April of 05), but patience often has it's rewards. If an order I placed some time ago is on constant delay (especially if it's been over two months since ordering), I'd seriously consider canceling the order. Then either place another order......or wait for the 2011's.

I had asked the dealer about reordering it and he said this one will be here before the new order would be. I was going to go to another dealer and reorder also. I have been looking for something else but so far I cant find anything I like. I cant stand my escape hybrid anymore and I just want to dump it, but I just cant find anything else I like. So I am still waiting and still looking.

We too are waiting impatiently. We however order on May 6 so we're still in the 6 - 8 week 'window'. We have been told by the dealer though that it will be August sometime due to the air-bag cover delimna.

I ordered a 2010 GT Premium Coupe on 23 May. According to the Sticker it was built on 12 June and it is sitting at Ramp R. Dealer said the data hasnt been updated since the 12 of June at which time it was estimated to be at the dealer on 11 July. Based on what I am seeing on the forums, it will be more likely August. I dont believe Ford has resolved the airbag issue yet.
