My 07 GT has a noticeably loud electric fuel pump noise that happens every time you turn the key to the second position but before starting. My friends 09 GT does NOT do this. Is this normal or might there be something wrong with mine?

 

my car does this. sounds normal to me.

 

I hear mine when I do this too.....I believe its the fuel pump priming......possibly changed in 09 but regardless it is normal!
