Default Problem with codes

Hello, I'm new to the site. I tried to search, but I'm not finding a lot of information about one of the codes I'm getting, especially both together. My wife bought a 2006 mustang about 4 months ago and it has around 65k miles, it is a V6.

Recently the mustange just came up with System too lean bank 2 and o2 sensor stuck lean bank 2 sensor 1. These are codes P0174 and P2197.

Of course I went to advance to pull the codes and he recommended I replace the o2 sensor. I got home and after reading everything it doesn't seem like that would be the problem. I haven't changed it out yet. I know the P0174 code a lot of times people recommend to check the MAF and the hoses for various leaks, but would P2197 be the same thing?

I honestly have no technical knowledge of cars, but I'll try anything. What would be the best way to check the hoses other than physically inspecting...would I have to take it to a mechanic for a smoke test?

Thanks for your help.

Clean your MAF. It's really easy. Two screws and a plug, pull it out and spray it down with the cleaner (make sure you use MAF cleaner), let it dry and reinstall. 5 minutes total. You also need to use a tuner to clear the codes

What is a tuner? I used the code scanner at advance and i had it erase the codes....is that not the same thing? Thank you for the help Chris, that doesn't sound too bad. All I need is a Torx 20 security head right?

I believe so, but I'm not sure if the intake is different on a V6. Yes, the handheld scanner at advance auto will clear the codes
