Default What are you purchasing leftover mustangs for?

Just wanted to see a ballpark of what I should expect to pay if I were to purchase a new mustang that is leftover from 09.

What kind of rebates are being offered? I heard someone say a $4500 rebate for buying a leftover in another thread.

So I'm contemplating purchasing new over used. Seems like I'm looking to pay around 19k for a used Mustang 06-07. I figure if I can get a new stang GT premium for around 24k, why not swing the extra 5k. What do you guys think?

I, not more than a few days ago, ended up finding a beautiful manual 05 GT for $15k total with only 30k miles on it. I snatched it up immediately having seen all the rest 05-07s going for $19-21k.

Originally I was going to buy an 06 for $18995 and then the 05 popped up with less miles and almost $4k cheaper so I thought why not?

Best deal I could have made. My first car too. Not sure what your budget is or your ultimate goal for the car but I have big dreams for my 05 and wanted to save as much money for mods as possible. My 2 cents.

I just bought my Bullitt for $27,740 before taxes

MSRP was $34,500. I then got $4,000 in rebates, and the X-Plan price was $31,741.

a normal GT has upwards of $4,500 in rebates. You need to be Military or Police to get that extra $500 though. Otherwise, it is $4,000

I don't see why you couldn't get a normal GT for $24,000 or a little bit less. Especially if you can get a X-Plan PIN

Those are some good prices. How much are the 2010 going for?

2010 models were about $500 more than a simarily equipped 2009 model

but the 2010's only get a $500 rebate currently

so if you can find a 2009, you can save upwards of $5,000 to $7,000 easily.

They have so many 09s around here, they are practically giving them away.
