I would say no; that's why I'm getting some aftermarket bulbs for my headlights & fogs to match them or come close. Their color is similar to 6K HIDs.

Someone requested an install write up, wanted to share this one over on TMS. It's for clear corners and stealth bulbs, but from what I can tell the LEDs just plug in like usual. Might be getting some soon myself:

Oh, and the clear or smoke lenses aren't $100, they're between 30 and 50 on ebay:

Question

wait, if you are not using the turn signal to turn, what color will they be on, white or orange?

Also, do you remember the number (type) you used for your car? my car is an 07 mustang gt also.

The color is white when not using your turn signals. Bulb type is 3157.

Nice mod. I am thinking about doing this along with the LED halo fog lights (American Muscle). Do you think the white halos, the white LED turn signal switchback light, and the factory HID headlights will match up good?

Can you explain how you wired in the load resistors? The load resistor diagram is vague on how it wires to the resistor.

The switchbacks look more like 6000K or even 8000K HIDs with a slight bluish hue to them. The halos are more white, maybe 5000k. I'm not sure what factory HIDs are colorwise...maybe 5000K? I did wish my halos were bluer or the switchbacks whiter. The difference is noticeable. I have since gotten rid of my halo headlights w/chrome housing. I just have the halo fogs and don't even use them anymore. I always have my switchbacks on as running lights. Now instead of looking like a BMW, I look like an Audi. lol Well sort of.
One note...the stock halogen headlights look horrible at night with the switchbacks. It really bugged me so I've got some 6000K HIDs on the way. Hopefully I'll have the HIDs installed this weekend.

One resistor was connected to the gray/black wire (driver side) and a ground point on the chassis and another resistor to the dark-blue/orange wire (passenger side) and a ground point on the chassis.

Thanks! I got the small bulbs (type 194) at V-leds.com. The exact ones were discontinued but here's something similar.

Thanks for the info, I will probably change my direction on lighting. I like everything to match.

Now I am thinking about getting the smoked chrome foglights (to match my turn signal housings) and installing the HIDs to match the factroy HIDs. I wonder if the light output is diminished from the smoked chrome? Any thoughts 2007CalSpec?
