Sirius Satellite - No Signal

Sirius Satellite - No Signal
Hi,
I have an 2007 GT with the factory Shaker 500 with Sirius satellite optoin and it was working fine for the longest time until earlier this week when I took it out for a drive. It tries to acquire a signal but does not find a signal. I checked the antenna and it is fine. Does the sirius receiver have a fuse or something that can go on it, that I can check before having to schedule a visit to the dealership?
Thanks,
Sean

Good thing the first 6 mos were free. BUZZSAW became AC/DC radio, and I'm thinking "hell yes, I'll resubscribe after it runs out"...then they promptly returned to the previous format, dropped some of the best classic/hard rock stations, and now my ipod rules the audio in my car. Bye bye Sirius.
Might reconsider when hockey season starts again...

The owners manual shows the fuse location and #.
The antenna goes to the satallite receiver in the trunk.
Been movin golf clubs round in the trunk?
Been in the trunk at all that coincides with the loss of signal?
Maybe you snagged the RG-174 coax and disconnected it.....
If it cant aquire a signal, it cant aquire a signal.
Not the same as service being discontinued.......
Pull out the O'Scope and see if signal is present on the antenna coax.
Or hit it with an antenna analizer and see if the coax is bad, cut or pinched.

Check the antenna all the way to the Sirius receiver in your trunk. You have a worn spot probably and it is grounding out the antenna and you can't get the signal. I had that happen to mine before, just a little nick in the wire and it tapped against the body and no signal.
Anyone who has decided against the Sirius service and would like to sell the receiver out of the trunk let me know. I'd like to get the dash mounted receiver out of my car and play it through the Shaker like a factory set up.
