Did you guys know you can hook your gas cap? It keeps it from dangling down;

See, the Stang is a high tech mobile.

Actually, those tabs are there to contact with the 2 rubber grommets.

 

i cut the cap free from the strap and got rid of it all together

hate the dangling cap

 

I read about it here on the forum a few months back but never checked it out until recently. I feel like James Bond sometimes with all the hidden gadgets! LOL Now if I can just find the button to my Laser Cannon!

 

So thats where it is... I know, I found out that on the early 05's, if you press the unlock button on the key thingy twice and hold it the second time... the windows roll down... very nice!

 

I could be wrong, but I think that only worked on the earlier models. I remember reading it on here somewhere.

yep early 05s only.....i have it on my 07 thougth but because of an aftermarket alarm

 

i think there is a tab on the cap too so you can put it on the extended part of the fuel door

this thread is full of fun little things, such as the gas cap hook, window down thingy, and so on. If you havent read it I would suggest you do, there are some pretty sweet things i found out, like the seatbelt holder on the drivers seat!
