I have an 08 mustang gt also. It has its little hook to keep the cap from dangling. That is the first thing i looked for when i pumped gas the first time. Little things like that go a long way. Without that it is a very easy way to get light scratches on the paint that im sure i would have had by now.

 

Actually, that's a good idea! I'll have to look into it when I go to Wal-Mart.

 

Sadly, I'm still waiting for the pump attendants in NJ to figure out that this hook exists Oh well...
