Default Starting the car

Hi,

When i start my stang 07 GT Manual the RPMs goes to 1500RPMS and after 3 or 4 secs they go down to 600-700RPMs.

My brother owns a 07 with and i just drove it on the weekend and notice that when i start his car the RPMs goes to 1500RPMs and they keep there for almost 1 minute and slowly went down to 800-900RPMs.

Is something wrong with my car, i have read here that almost all wait for 1 minute until RPMs go down but in my car they went down just in secs is this normal ?

Thanks

No he does not, I was the one who had a Tune from Brenspeed with C/L Street Race. I had problems and Brenspeed asked SCT3 to send me a Stock Tune so i loaded a stock tune received from SCT3.

Right now im running the "stock" tune received from SCT3

Thanks

There's no problem. On start up a car will have a higher RPM while it works in open loop mode. It ignores the sensors and checks everything out. After a few seconds, or even a minute depending on ambient conditions, it will drop to idle.

My concern was how quickly my RPMs went down comparing to my brothers.

My RPMS comes down in 4 secs.

That is not a problem ?
