Default Mods you regret?

Which of your modifications would you undo if you could? Which turned out to be something different than what you had hoped for?

Exhaust too loud?

Suspension too stiff/car too low?

Horns that play Dixie just not useful in traffic after all?

While I don't regret getting my LCA's... I do regret not getting relocation brackets at the same time. The rear end clucks like crazy over bumps and from everything I've read, the relocation brackets will help minimize that.

The relocation brackets do make a world of a difference, I had mine lowered and without them and it would clunk around like crazy, after I installed them just last week it drives so smooth, better than when it was with the stock springs and stock control arms.

As far as mods I regret, I had gotten a carbon fiber trunk and hood, it seemed good and nice at first, but then after about a few months I absolutely hated it, luckily it was a mod I was able to fix, I sold them on craigslist and put the stock ones back on, and used the money to buy my wheels

Sounds like some mods need to come in pairs, else they'll be regretable on their own?

I suppose swapping gears without recalibrating the speedo would be another case.

mods you regret arent a big deal...cant regret it until after you get it and learn from it...thats what modding is all about...finding the stuff you like...by buying all the wrong stuff first~! ive gone through a couple different exhaust setups...couple sets of springs...almost to the perfect setup

Tail light blackout covers

Regretted the o/r H and how my exhaust setup went screwy afterward thanks to the stock mufflers, but now that I was able to try out one of my options (Magnaflows) and go with it, the o/r H was DEFINITELY worth it.

haha i regret my only mod... the roush louvers. Never sat on right, have fallen off on 2 occasions and i have scratches in an outline of the part on my paint so its not like i can take them off without getting repainted. Hopefully the next solution will get the damn things to stick on right.
