There's humor and sarcasm emoticons to help you convey that message.

After looking at your posts, a large part are inflammatory or just flat out complaining. Maybe that's intentional, or maybe not. Maybe you're just a pessimistic kind of guy. About half the population is, or is that half the population isn't....sigh, I digress...

However the fact remains that one gets that impression from viewing your posts.

...especially coming from someone with 100 posts.
That's just plain silly. Post count means little in most cases. I've seen plenty of very knowledgeable people who post little, and plenty of poor posters with a high count. All a high count means is one makes a lot of posts, it says nothing about the quality of them.

I'm curious, what's your background with the Mustang? How many have you owned, and what all have you done? Currently, I've owned a total of 6 in 20 years, and we still have 4 of those parked here at my house. I've raced, rebuilt, and restored several year models. Does that mean I know everything? Not by a longshot. Heck, you may have very well surpassed me in that. However, that post count you seem to place myopic faith in doesn't seem to tell you anything about what I really might know.

On another note, I have nearly 17,000 posts on another large forum which I also help moderate (unrelated to Mustangs). When this sort of topic comes up there, I'm still always quick to point out that there are plenty of posters with low counts that can provide plenty of useful information. In fact, one of my favorite examples there is a guy I know that is an electrical engineer with Raytheon (you know, the defense contractor). His post count is miniscule compared to many there, but his knowledge will blow away anyone I've ever come across.

In short, you might want to realize there's more to someone than their post count. If that's all you place faith in, you are likely selling yourself short in your approach. I'm sure there are many guys here with low post counts that could teach all of us a thing or two!

Best of luck on your issue though. Hope it works out in the end whatever route you need to go!

I'm curious about what this large number of pessimistic posts is coming from. You have enough free time to read all of my posts?

And not that it matters, but this is my 3rd Mustang since 1990

I don't know bro. I make one joke about stating the obvious and then I'm getting slammed by three people that I don't even know. I didn't realize everyone was so sensitive around here.

I'm on hold with SCT right now, so we'll see what they say.

Just got off the phone with SCT. They are going to fix/replace it for me for free. I'm shipping it out to them today. They are pretty close to me (Longwood), so the turn around time is pretty quick. I should have it back by early next week. Luckily I was able to find all my tune files, so no harm no foul, I guess!

Thanks for all the help guys...
