so the last couple days my car has been making a weird clunking noise when turning right, but only when i turn right. i cant really figure out were the noise is coming from. what do you guys think iit could be? it a 05 gt all stock suspension.

 

is it just when turning right? at speeds from 5-15 mph when turning the wheel fast?

possibly strut mounts. or transmission/maybe even motor mounts.

 

Limited-slip differential noise?

 

It's most probably the Tie Rods.

Happened to me on stock suspension.

 

ya the car has 18,500 miles on it. um ya 5 - to if i turn the wheel fast at any speed.

 

My wife's VW Passat had a loud clunking/rubbing vibration noise when she made a sharp right turn from a stop. It ended up being a bad wheel bearing. Just a thought.

 

any more ideas guys?
