Way to much... kbb dont me nothing these days.. I have seen 2010 GTs for cheap that arent much more than these pecker heads are wanting. Plus if they are like any other dealer you will get scewed on financing unless you are paying cash..

I'd say you keep looking and find one less than $20. It makes no sense to pay new car price for a 2+ year old car. Go ahead and call it 3 years since the 2010's are on the road. Heck, you can probably get a brand new 2009 that they need to move for $25 or less if you look around and haggle.

Definitely keep shopping. My friend bought this 2009 CS with only twelve hundred miles on it for 22K.

I agree with everyone else...keep looking. I got a brand new leftover 08 GT (in sig) late last year for $24k and change. With the economy the way it is I would suggest going to check out the new vehicles if you are going to spend that money...you'll probably find a leftover 08 or 09 in that range.

If you really like the car, I would go in and low ball at like $17,500 - $18,000!! Being that the the economy is still not that great and if they are desperate for a sale, they may say OK!! Doesn't hurt to try and worth a shot! If not, you can walk away and say "you tried".
If you don't try, you'll never know...........

I also checked Kelley Blue Book retail and this is what came up under the zip code in sayville, NY. The price is based on "Excellent condition". The car would have to be a "show room car" to be considered excellent condition. I know NY is an expensive place to live, but dang!!!

I payed 14,500 for my 2006 gt like 6 months ago. It had a pioneer avic-n2 head unit, 4 monitors(Visors and Headrests), playstation 2, rear view camera, keyless push buttom door entry system(where you just push the numbered code on the door). I know thats a year newer but i am not sure if i would have payed 5,500 for 1 year.

Sigh. It seems that all the great deals for Mustangs are outside of New York. I'd love to find a black/black mustang gt in perfect condition for under 20k!

If you are willing to drive a little, then go for it. I know alot of people who have driven a state or two away to save a more than a couple grand on stuff. Check out autotrader and you'll find some GREAT deals.

Use Carmax, they alway sell for 3-4 below retail (based on my exp). I had my 2006 shipped from Birmingham, AL here to INDY for $200, and got it for 21K a year ago with 9k miles on it. KBB was $24K-$25K at that time...
