Unhappy Rest is important!

Coming home early this morning, going on no sleep for a little over a day and I dozed off for a second and this is the result.

Stupid driving when I am that tired but trying to get home and bam!

I was only about 1/2 mile from home when it happened.

Not even going to turn it into my insurance.

Didn't get a police report as I didn't want to get a ticket or get stuck paying for the damage I inflicted to the poor fence I hit.

Just going to bite the bullet and pay out of pocket. Thankfully I have a good friend who owns a body shop.

Lesson learned

Sorry to hear that. But consider yourself lucky that you woke up at all.

ouch. that is one thing I stopped doing about 4 years ago. Now, no matter how bad I need to get home or somewhere else, if I'm tired I'm stopping at the first hotel I see.
I had the scare of my life when I dosed off as well. thank god nothing happened, but that was the last time I did it.

but it's def time to upgrade the front

Looks like new 1/4 panel and front bumper?

Sorry to see that. Glad it was just a fence.

Some parts you will need.. just need the $150 fender to go with it... glad you made it out unscratched..

and a fender.

John, I assume you won't be coming to the MF Meet and Greet at the Gratiot cruise Sunday. Or do you want to come and show off the damage? Your still welcome.

Can't even drive the car the fender is jammed right into the tire. Not that I would want to drive it looking like that anyway.

I might ride my bike down to the cruise anyway, I hate to miss it completely because of this.
