Painted calipers are way too played out. If you have stock brakes, no reason to draw attention to them.

Its all about detailing....

Here is another site that offers the same Caliper Paint system as Eastwood does and the have more colors too. I ordered the Gold as I think it would look great with my 2010 Black GT with a Super Snake Gold stripe. Right no the Calipers are hidden against the Satin finished Rims..The Gold will bring them out!

I'd definitely go with a name brand paint. I've seen G2 on eBay but I'm not familiar with the quality. Can't go wrong with Duplicolor.

What wax do you have on your vert, icody? I just detailed mine over the weekend and used Wolfgang Sealant 3.0. The stuff is amazing! (not meaning to hijack the thread )

I actually haven't waxed it yet...LOL I need something that won't leave too much of a residue since the car is black..I hate it when you get white stuff between the cracks on a black car. Ant recomendations????

BTW - Eastwood was the first to do the caliper paint and G2 is what Eastwood sells. They offer more colors than Duplicolor too. Duplicolor doesn't offer a Gold, Thats the main reason I went with G2.

I love the pictures of your car AJ (and the Grabber Blue looks awesome ..guess its now called Kona Blue sorry!)..very nice and clear. I'll have to take mine someplace besides the Driveway and see what I can do..LOL

The G2 paint is excellent quality and I highly recommend it. I ordered mine from hubcapsplus.com about a year ago when they were offering a special (they actually had factory matched paint colors) and it still looks as good as it did when I applied it. It's a thicker paint and will resist chipping.
