So... My friend and I were using a livewire that i bought from him to tune my car (05 V6) and it had the preloaded V6 tunes on it so we gave it a try. It worked at first for reverse but when I put it in 1st and started to engage the clutch it went into engine failsafe and started the ultra-rich mode and suffocated us. We tried it numerous times but couldn't get it to work. So we decided to see if the tune was out-dated and we uploaded the tune file from SCT. Went to put it on the car and the programmer said it was locked. which is was locked....to my car. He's emailing SCT to see WTF is up with that since I'm out of unlocks. Anyone have the problem w/ failsafe mode or have any suggestions (besides getting a custom tune)?
