I have this problem on my new GT too (19" inch wheels). I'm going to try removing the retaining clips and moving the backs to the fronts, but what is amazing to me is the amount of wheels weights used to balance. I've never seen so much weight on a wheel... my guess is the tires are the issue.

i test drove a GT today and I commented to the salesmen about the vibration through the steering wheel. He said it's because the car sat on the lot too long.

people; comment on how many miles you bought the car with..................

oh wait, nevermind, these 2010's are brand new!!!!!

Ive got a 2010 GT auto with 19" tires -- no shake for me, haven't gone beyond 100 mph yet, have over 500 miles on it.

I test drove 3 GT manuals today, one with 18" wheels and two with 19". Two of the three had the wheel shake, one 18" and the 19". I have driven six new GT's and four the six have had wheel shake. WTF?? Three of the six have had a notchy transmission from first to second.

I would strongly suggest that you take a long test drive before you put down your money. The dealership morons all say, " Don't worry it's under warranty".

I believe your car is not going to run any better than the day your buy it. If you order a car have sale "sale contingent upon a test drive satisfactory to buyer".

I have purchased over 50 new cars in my lifetime, yes over fifty, and cars that had wheel shake and/or trans issues, etc. never got better, contrary to the BS that it's new and needs to break in. And as many of you probably know, when you leave your car to be fixed, you typically go home with a new problem caused by the dealer. I put having my car serviced right up there with going to the dentist.

I'm sure I'll get crap that I'm too picky but please save it for someone who cares. When your putting down 30-40 large, your car should be right BEFORE you buy it. Drive safe.

I am closing in on 2500 miles with 18's and it's all good. I haven't had the car over 100 mph, but been close..

Closing in on 2500 miles as well. 19's and no tire shake issues. There are a bunch of damn weights on these rims though.. I'm thinking the shakes are a tire issue..

I think you are right.

I test drove 3 2010's and while I know this isn't a big sample, none of them had shake..

2000 miles. 19". Never a shake. Lots of weights on the wheels; although, I had lots of weights on my Audi A4 with the 19" falken tires.
