Increased pressure causes the tire contact patch to take on a more rounded profile, like a bicycle or motorcycle tire. In adition to what's been said before, you will also lose a lot of performance. Which will be really noticable during emergency and avoidance manouvers. Thiink if what happens to performance when you install a significantly narrower tire - like a 185.
As tires heat up the pressure rises. Ford and Michelin know this. You'll easily gain 5-8 psi on a hot day. Now your TP is 40. Ford and Michelin know this. If you start out with a high pressure, and then raise it even more, you can easily get into blow out range.
