danzcool, trust me when I tell you that the heat around here is nowhere near the heat you get on Corvette Forum. I've spent a couple of years over there and they will spank you hard if you say anything negative about the vette. They are a bunch of closed minded, arrogant elitists who think you're nothing if you don't drive a corvette. That attitude got even worse when I stepped up to the Z06. It seems like the more expensive the car, the bigger the jerk that drives it. I wonder if anything like that happens around here with the Shelby guys?
My basis of thinking is the HUGE variety of aftermarket parts, and the ability to really make your car your own. I used to hate corvettes, camaros, challengers, chargers, and the like. But now I realize I love muscle cars in general, and I'm not going to say every car but one sucks.
(Challengers and chargers are still fat pigs.)

I'm for selling the Z06 (Don't like vettes) then tuning the GT into a monster and buying a new daily, and having cash left over. Yeah it may not be the most cost effective but a GT sleeper would be so much fun!

I'd keep that z06, sure the corvette owners might be ********, but who cares not like you have to live with them or even talk to them for that matter. Don't let a few rude people spoil your amazing car. Z06 is on the top of my list for cars I'd like to own! But here's a thought if you really want to get rid of it sell them both and get a ford GT.
