Default Which Centrifugal supercharger?

So which one and why? I'm starting looking into them, I don't want 'massive' power, looking for 400-420 ish since I don't want to blow anything up but they all seem very similar (Vortech, Paxton, Prochager, etc) Since the car will pretty much be a DD I want something that I can drive out of the boost if I want to.

So give me your opinions as to which one and why (that's the hard part!) lol

procharger or V3 vortech because they are self contained and they are pretty much not there unless you want to. i went with procharger cause i found a SWEET deal on it. vortech's are cheaper to build a kit from, see the $1500 supercharger sticky, its all about vortech. dont know anything about paxton's. but lots of stories about guys liking there procharger cause there wife can drive it and can't tell its there, and when they get in it, they have 10/12lbs of boost at there finger tips. which is where you'd want to be..8-10psi to be safe. what i've always said is... why is your wife driving your supercharged stang... she should have her own. lol

just to further clearify, self contained if you don't already know is that you dont' have to tap into your oil pan.. not a big deal. however its just one less thing to do. thats why i would go V3specific on a vorech, or just go procharger.

Yeah I know I didn't want one that wasn't, the only thing I don't like about the procharger is it looks like the unit hags way off to the side making for a long belt, and also where the locate the air intake, seems like it's going to get lots of hot air there.

Yeah it also seems paxton has a self lubricated system too. Yeah I'd like to get a kit with a intercooler, but the V3 system brenspeed sells for 3700 is interesting, but has no IC.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/pipe...-its-done.html

check that out, wouldn't pertain to you directly cause of the year and all but you'll get the point of peiceing it together. seems most people do vortech for the price, and if thats not an issue, b/w the two they are going with procharger. procharger kits come with intercooler and supporting peices, along with fuel upgrades too. i imagine paxton would to for the prices.

I know a lot of ppl really like the xcharger system, I believe it has a much better torque curve, but I think alot more power lower in the rpm range so maybe not the best DD setup
