It sounds like they did some great modifications with the suspension system. =-)
Does the 2010 weigh as much or more than the 05-09 models?
Someone posted that they had theirs weighed for the military to ship overseas and with a 1/4 tank of gas it weighed in at 3450 lbs.... I thought they weighed more than that myself

You probably can't hear rattles in your CRX because your fart can muffler drones them out.

GTFO! Yeah, when it's parked!!
My Stang has less rattle than a late model Civic. Sorry dude...

Quality can be evasive to the common folk...
Like... What happens in the event of a crash?
I'd rather be in a Mustang, thank you.
The feel you get when you close the door between the two, says it all...

op, hope "some" members helped you out, but the real test is driving one. personally, for an upgraded suspension, a fuggly rear, and 15 horses more, i will have to pass......waiting for more cubes and less weight....ford, give us more to work with!!!!
in reference to your question, the 10's do drive better and handle better, for what that's worth......too expensive,IMO, for what you get

Civics are not better and neither are crx's. I rode in a crx for about a week and it was not good, it groaned every time we took a corner, and I believe it was an 2001. I test drove an 07 civic before buying my mustang and it felt much less solid. Hondas are reliable, but so are fords especially newer fords.

Lol, I've had about 8 Hondas. They were all built much better than my current 08 GT. I love the Mustang. I think it's my favorite car so far but I don't need to put on blinders and ignore obvious shortcomings to enjoy it.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. To the original point, I find that the 2010 interior is better built and the materials are of a higher quality. The question is, is it good enough to justify buying a new 2010 over a used 05-09. I didn't think so and went with my walrus textured interior 08 and saved a few thousand.

I've also owned a 1999 Mustang and I thought the interior was lacking big time. My wife owns a 2000 VW Passat and the interior looks 10X better than my 99 Mustang. However, the interior for the 2005 - 2009 is a lot better than the 99 - 04 models. I have looked at the 2010 interior through the window and it does look like they have improved the interior a good bit. Ford can only improve!!! =-)
