I wanted to upgrade my brake lines to ss ones and I ordered the J&M ss lines off of americanmuscle but when I went to put them on I noticed that the drivers side line that was there was NOT the same as the replacement ss lines...

1. goes to the master cylinder
2. goes to the passenger side caliper
3. goes to driver side caliper


did i order the wrong part or do i need to do some modifying of what?

You're running a V6 without ABS?

Those lines are for ABS systems.

I think J&M just came out with a new version for non-ABS.

I did mine on a V8, with Brenspeed's ss lines part of stage 2 stoptech package. Worked great. Pretty straight forward.

I used the directions from manufacturer's website.

Skip to the ss lines. Mind you this is for the big break kit, but you get the gist of it.

Now I am not sure about the V6, but this may be usefull to us v8 guys.
