Default Really important article MUST READ!!

I was looking around and found this article that was posted from mustang5.0, I know it's been out for a while, but if anyone is interested in buying headers and need help to decide I believe this article does it.

http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...ers/index.html

I've been looking something like that for a while and finally found it, it lists 5 very good headers that are available and puts out the dyno results, these headers are:

Bassani, BBk, Hooker, JBA, MAC

Ford Racing tested all the headers for the mustang, not just 5 of them. American Racing was the best.

If you can get ahold of that link if it's available it'd be much appreciated.

The set of Bassani's used in that article are now installed on my car.

Thanks, Anderson!

And whoever installed and uninstalled a half dozen sets of headers on the same car for this test deserves a raise!

If I did it again, I'd go with Kooks. Kooks puts the O2 sensors closer to the engine (and factory location) than any other header and will make life easier on your tuner which is always a good thing.

It took me months to get a tune that worked (ie: not CEL's) with my Bassani LTs.

i have bassani and my CEL still comes on, my tuner said (after a year)he didn,t have a clue. how'd you get yours to stop coming on?
PS. i still like my headers, no leaks, no other problems.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to buy some longtubes in the near future. I was looking at the Pypes longtubes. Do you have any info on those?
