sure the s197 sounds different. idk what grindy means, but if it doesnt sound good then change the exhaust. you can make these mustangs sound pretty mean. IMHO they sound better than previous generations of Mustangs. these vids sound pretty mean.

I would hate to live where the 2nd video lives. Takes 3 mins just to get out the complex and headed in the right direction on the street.

3rd vid just makes me think of a loud and slow car. If my stang is making a huge ruckus, I at least want it to be going fast.

I dont think the number of valves have anything to do with it. The 2-valve 281s sound great, so do the 4-valve cobras. But for some reason 2 intake and 1 exhaust dont ? I just dont buy it, it does'nt make any sense. Its gotta be the way the exhaust is set up that makes the difference.
