I have Xpel tint covers on my headlights, fogs, and front turn signals. They apply just like tint film but they are 30mm thick plastic so not only do they tint your lights they protect them too. I have no problems at night at all but, I do have HID's.

I have to drive with my driving/fogs on. I added nice yellow bulbs so it helps. If I am going to drive in bad weather or country roads.. I just take them off. I like the covers for that reason.. really easy to take off and put on.
