Default 2010 Speed Compensated Volume (shaker)

Hey guys,

In my 2010, I've noticed that the "speed compensated volume" is either VERY subtle or just not working at all. I'd like to hear what you all think about this feature on your stereos. In my '05, the speed comp volume was quite noticeable. I had mine set at 3 and could hear a distinct change in volume at certain speeds, particularly 40 mph.

Now in my 2010, even with the speed comp set at the highest setting (7), I am having difficulty distinguishing any change in volume with increase or reduction in speed.

I'm not sure it's something I want to take to bring to my dealer's attention because it doesn't bother me all that much, especially since the dealer would probably have to replace the entire unit altogether. And I'd rather not have a tech digging around my center console unless it was really
necessary.

But am I the only one who's noticed this? Or can the rest of you hear distinct changes in volume? I'm curious to find out if, in fact, mine is just not working.

Thanks!

Mine also wasn't as loud as other cars I have. But it is not something I also want a tech tearing about the car for.
