Default Tuner question

Hey guys I have an 08 mustang gt that I have been running the 93 octane tune from brenspeed on. SCT X3 tuner. Today when I returned to stock settings the *service engine soon* light illuminated and wouldnt turn off. If I swap back to any of the custom tunes it goes out immediately. Any ideas?

Only other mods are BBK cold air intake and Corsa extreme axle back, Neither should require a tune as far as I know. Ran without one for a few weeks before I got the SCT anyhow.

my BBK intake required a tune. i would get a check engine like if
i went over 3000 rpm.
I took the intake off and went back to stock.
I'm not ready to get a tuner yet

^^I agree, I believe the BBK intakes require a retune. May have to put the stock air box back on. Why are you going back to stock?

American muscle site says BBK doesnt require a tune, however some of the people did get idiot lights. Before I had my tuner though it ran fine and no idiot light. Also there is no DTC code at all when I check for one just the stupid light. Just seems strange for the light to come on and stay on but no codes when set at stock, No problems at all on any of the 3 custom tunes. Should I just reflash stock and try the battery reset? Need to reset to stock soon for service interval at ford dealership. Otherwise I wouldnt change it at all I love the Vroom with the 93 tune.

Yes I would say retune to stock then reset the battery. Give it 15-20 mins of driving before you come to the conclusion that it's not going to come back on.
