One of the few options for me to buy... I have mixed feelings about them. There are some cars I love in white, but on most it's not really flattering. On a muscle car like Mustang... I don't know.

Not because I think white is cool... ha. Actually white paint stays the coolest in the sun and therefore lasts the longest. Black is the worst for heating up the paint. This is why you see black cars with roasted paint (peeling clear coat or worse) more than any other color. But you concerns are correct. White is also the color of work trucks and delivery vans.

I've had 4 white cars spanning 26 car years... 67 Galaxie convert (11 years), 98 Jeep Wranger (ordered white, 4 years), 02 Crown Vic (searched for white, 4 years), 95 Cherokee (02 to present)

I'm done with white.

1) White is almost as hard to keep clean as black. Almost. This coming from someone completely ****. If you ignore them, white is fine. If you want to keep 'em detailed... truly almost as bad...

2) I've seen more GM and Chrsyler white cars loose their paint than any other color.

behind black white is the coolest color out there, because it stays cool, people notice white cars more, and it looks more through-back than black. a lot of mustangs from 63 1/2-69 were white and they had that rally look especially with the blue racing stripes!

It's hard to say white isn't a muscle car color when there are few things more american muscle than a white car with blue or red racing stripes. I think white by itself is kind of boring, but it doesn't take much to really make it stand out.

Stripes make any car look cool, I agree. Blue or red stripes on a white car is hot. However I'm talking about plain white cars without any graphics on them.
