OK, well let's digress a little. This has nothing to do with Mustangs, but is amusing.
A number of years ago, we had a minivan stolen from our house in San Diego. It was missing over a month. It was eventually recovered abandoned in LA somewhere. It had been used to transpost illegal aliens from Mexico to LA (sidenote: all the seats were gone except the driver's... they must have crammed 25 people on that thing [
] ).
Anyway, a few weeks after it was recovered, I got notification in the mail that I owed not one, but two parking tickets on the van. The tickets were issued while it was stolen, at the exact address where it was recovered! The nimrods who issued the tickets evidently didn't even bother to run the plates to see if it was stolen! It took me almost a year to get the LAPD/Courts to drop the tickets and quit threatening me.
Geez... No wonder O.J. Simpson couldn't get convicted in LA... [:@]
