Can anyone beat this record?

We just ordered an 06 GT, the dealer had an 05 almost like we wanted except it had light graphite and we wanted dark charcoal. While we were there we test drove the GT.

We got 4.6 miles and got pulled over, got ot be a record?
Very nice leo told me I was doing 65 in a 45 (just made a turn onto a straight away).
He let me go when I told him I was test driving the car, he said he didnt blame me for trying it out.
Probably helped it was in a small town where he knew all the salespeople.

And to top that off, on the way home we were going down a four lane with the flow of traffic.
I see a state trooper coming so I instinctively let off the gas and I look to see that I was doing 67-68 mph in a 65 so I just kept going. About 2 miles later he gets behind me and pulls me over (twice in 2 hrs, another possible record) he asked me how fast I was going? I said about 65, he said I clocked you at 103 but it didnt look like you were going that fast. I said no, I wasnt. He said must be something wrong with the radar, anyway he was also very nice about it and let me go.

I wonder what would have happened if the radar incorrectly registered 80 or so? I probably would have gotten a ticket.
I have always suspected radar is highly inaccurate, now I know it is. Luckily it wasnt an A hole cop like some of them are.

You must have been close to Montgomery or Cullman... those guys pull you over if your 5 - 6 miles over the limit all the time.
I bet that is two records though.... first 4.6 miles - on a test drive and another on the way home?
What are you driving now?? You're a LEO magnet! LOL!

I got pulled over backing out of a parking space one time on my motorcycle. His "excuse" was that the space used to be a handy cap space. The HC symbol had since been spray tarred over when the reconfigured the parking lot.

 

I hope you took that one to court.. I wish cops that have the b@ll to give ****ty tickets like that get punished.. if they make a ticket and someone takes it to courst and the cop loses the case.. then he should lose pay for that day!!.. just like we have to fight it.. I think its only fair [:@]

I was in an explorer when I was pulled over the second time.
And I was in Centre Al. just east of Gadsden. for the first one and between Lincoln and Talladega on the second.

I had not been pulled over in 5+ years, then twice today.

We have family in Gadsden and Boaz but I've never been to Centre.
Sucks... I think it's been 7 for me (knocking on wood). I only got one
in 7 years in the Mustang too. I deserved more, but only got one.
I have a friend that gets pulled over all the time and hasn't gotten a
ticket in MANY years. I have no idea how he talks his way out of them.
His daughter definitely doesn't have the gift though... LOL!
