Default Installing new Leathers in 10 GT!! HELP!!

Hey guys, Im installing leather seats in my 10 GT, I have the side air bags as I think all of us do in the 10's and I was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to not trigger the sensors off when unbolting the seats and replacing the foams? and is the sensor for the front air bag sensor for passenger seats just a clip? Any help is apperciated thanks!

Damn all the money you are spending, a Premium would have been a lot easier

Is it a leather kit or what? Pics? Sorry I can't help with your questions!

I am not sure I can help but what about taking the fuse out for the airbags (if there is one?) prior to unbolting the seats...

Step #1 I would think is to remove the battery terminals. Seems like any time you work around something where sensors are located for airbags that is the first step they always tell ya...

Honestly though a quick call to a trusted dealer's service dept would be quicker than waiting for the correct responses from here I believe. Not that folks here are not qualified, just that you might be waiting longer for the response

I've always read that you want to disconnect the battery, remove the fuses, and let the car sit for 10 minutes prior to messing around in the airbag components areas.

I'd definitely call the dealer service dept though, better safe than sorry. In fact, I'd call a couple of dealer service departments, and make sure I got the same answer.

Are you putting Katzkin seats or something like that in???

If it is custom leather, take it to an upholstery shop and let them do the install.

If the bags blow, they'll have to have them put back.
