OP- how does the car feel to you? If your happy with the feel of the car then the dyno really is just a number. I am sure your tall tires made a difference. I made 270 RWHP (20x10's) with a CAI and no tune so I was happy to say the least....factory freak doubt it but I was happy. After the S/C gained almost 200 RWHP. The number with the S/C only made me happy cause of the amt of money I spent to get those 200 ponies....other then that I could care less about the HP...just how she felt afterward...

300rwhp for nothing but an intake/tune and a set of pulleys is really, really good.
Where do you live? What was the elevation at the facility?

Your numbers are low but I would not sweat it though. But if you are anything like me it's going to eat at you until you know why your numbers seem low. So just do another test. Swap tires and run it again.

I feel you man... look at me. I got cams and I only make 310whp.

Stock = 258
Intake/Tune = 287
Cams/High Flow Cats/Delete Plates = 310

What I tell myself, even though it sounds like a Fast and Furious quote... I race on the track/Street, not the dyno. I am happy about my track times/trap, so who cares about what the dyno says?

Also, that little blip in the dyno seems like an anomaly, it should not be there unless his car cracked JDM VTEC for a second

I wouldn't even worry about it personally. There are so many factors that could affect the numbers that its not worth getting pissed about. Aren't you planning a supercharger eventually anyway?

The DA was probably at least 4500' when we did our dyno runs that day. The elevation is 3100'. The values are all SAE corrected however so that shouldn't really matter much..

The car feels fine to me I guess. I noticed it wasn't quite as snappy when I put the bigger tires on there. Took my final drive ratio from a 4.10 to a 3.90. And apparently chewed up at least a few whp. The good part ofcourse is the better traction the NT05 tires give over the stock pirellis.

I haven't been to the track yet since I got the new tires/wheels.. I will on the 19th. I am hoping for better 60' times over the stock ones because I had a hell of a time getting under 2.4 with them. Manual transmission + mediocre driver skill = FAIL.

A blower is in the cards.. But not for quite some time. Realistically not until summer of 2011.

I may still put the stock pirellis back on and go do another dyno run.. If anything just to satisfy some curiousity. Either way I can't really afford to sell the car. I wouldn't want to do that just for another GT, and I can't afford an upgrade to a shelby or a C6. So I'm more or less stuck.

His best trap speed and my best trap were very close. However, that was before I put the gears in and the new tires/wheels.

In any case as Mishri pointed out if you discard that curious power spike he has in his graph the results are closer. I'm about 10whp off in that case. While I'm still shorter than I expected the difference isn't quite as bad.

Neither his car or mine are apparently screamers on the dyno. I'm still disappointed but not quite as upset about it as I was. I can't afford to get rid of the car and upgrade so I'm stuck anyway. Might as well just accept reality and move on. :/

riptide there itsnt much of a difference between both of your dynos if you removed the spike he has.the dyno shows peak power and torque wich in his case it goes to 300 something for a couple of rpms, while yours is making the power through the power band.

I feel for you man. I dyno'd stock at 278Hp and 299 TQ, before the intake and tune. Oddly enough it feels slower to me now than when brand new, guess it's time to mod. Good luck figuring it out
