Default 2010 Mustang Antenna Install

The new 10 Mustang Antenna is now in the rear. I am going to install a crome billett Ant. How do you remove the antenna. It does not to want to seem to twist off and I do not want to strip or ruin it. Thanks

Just make sure you're twisting the upper portion of the antenna and not the base. The base sets right on the car, about 3/4" high. The actual antenna rests on the base.

A chrome billet antenna? Sorry but I can't imagine this looking good.

What color is your car? I'd imagine a chrome look would be alright on a lighter colored car, don't think so much on a dark one.

The pic from that link looks pretty good. The stock antenna on the 2010's isn't all that bad tho from what I remember, is it? (I still don't take delivery on my 2010 for a couple weeks)

Actually the stock antenna is not that bad at all. It's not like the '05 - '09 fishing pole antenna...

Thanks for the opions and visuals. I am going to have to think about this. After looking awhile I am leaning towards the stock look. 2010 Red Candy Metallic GT Conv
